Everyone needs waterproof flooring, no matter where they live. This flooring handles everything from the most significant leaks to small spills and "oops" moments–when we drop and spill.

Offering the highest level of moisture protection

There's a difference between water-resistant and waterproof flooring. One is impenetrable. It's made of waterproof materials, and no special coatings are needed to help it.

Waterproof products can be submerged or spilled on without damage.

Water-resistant products will repel for a short time. Then, unless wiped immediately, they will break through to soak, stain, peel, and ripple.

Laminate’s two versions

Original laminate flooring has wood in its construction. It’s usually avoided in wet areas like the bath.

Waterproof laminate flooring, however, has a non-wood construction. This eliminates concerns about soaking and staining.

Waterproof vinyl flooring is stylish for any room

Waterproof vinyl flooring is luxury vinyl that's engineered to be thicker and more durable. They have all the styles of luxury vinyl and images of wood, stone, and tile taken digitally.

Modern technology, like embossing and micro beveling, adds depth and dimension. Textured looks include brushed, hand-scraped, distressed, and embossed-in-register.

WPC and SPC

Wood plastic Composite (WPC) and stone plastic composite (SPC) are two terms you frequently hear when shopping for waterproof flooring.

Two technologically advanced cores are built into these floors, also called waterproof vinyl flooring. As a result, they won't peel or ripple–no matter how much water there is or for how long.

They both offer the same level of moisture resistance. The difference is the feeling underfoot, though.

WPC is more flexible and resilient. SPC is solid and rigid, much like the hard surface of wood or stone.
